It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Annie Bertha Gonsalves on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on July 4, 1935, Annie lived a life filled with love, devotion, and the warmth of family.

Annie was the beloved wife of Dominic Gonsalves, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories. Together, they built a beautiful family, and Annie was a devoted mother to Marisa (Benedict), Clifford (Stephanie), Colin (the late Maya), Cedric (Erum), Michelle (Cedric), Clinton (Margaret), and Calvin (Rebecca).

As a grandmother, Annie's joy multiplied. She adored her fourteen grandchildren: Denora, Gregory, Kirsten, Damian, Benton, Selena, Kaylyn, Keisha, Benson, Beneta, Bennetta, Megan, Elliot, and Jordyn.

Daughter of the late Francis and late Louisa Coutinho, sister of the late Stella Coutinho, late Bella D'Souza (late Vincy), late Philomena D'Souza (late John), sister Christine Coutinho (nun in Belgium), Lily Gois (Allan), Jennifer Nathaniel (late Ian), late Patrick Coutinho, John Coutinho (Merlyn), Anthony Coutinho (Rosie).

Annie will be remembered for her kind heart, her gentle strength, and the unwavering love she bestowed upon her family. Her presence was a comforting beacon, and her legacy of love will continue to live on through her children and grandchildren.

Though she will be deeply missed, the memories of Annie's love and warmth will forever remain in our hearts.

May she rest in eternal peace.
