Tony and I enjoyed many years of travel and friendship with Annette and John. We all met like fate in Cuba. It was funny...We arrived separately, on the plane, but I have this habit of taking a photo of the airport we were going to enter. Strangely, the only people in that photo,
were Douglas, John and Annette, Janet and Faizul, and Tony since I was the photographer.
We never had spoken to each other, but spent all our meals together, lounged by the pool together, and after dinner, Annette would sing by the piano, as Douglas played! So much fun was had by all, and our friendship continued to grow! We stayed in touch, sharing, meals at each other’s homes and reminiscing with our memories of our Cuban adventure.
Annette’s spirit and beautiful voice will stay with us always. We will continue to hear her laugh. Annette’s presence will be deeply missed by all on earth, but her soul will soar with the angels in heaven.
🌺🌹Rest In Peace, Annette. 🌹

My mother will always be the most courageous, strongest, graceful, loyal, supportive and loving woman I will ever know.

She was the best mother, wife, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.

I love her more than words can convey.
