In memory of

AnneWalker Allan

April 19, 1927 -  December 19, 2022

Born at her home, Point Abino ON. April 19, 1927, died peacefully December 19, 2022 at North York General where she had volunteered for over fifty years. After graduating from Ridgeway High School she trained as a nurse at the Hospital for Sick Children School of Nursing where she made lifelong friends, class of '48. Longtime member of RCYC and employee Eaton's, Don Mills. Survived by sons Robert (Nora) and Kirk. Predeceased by parents William Stanley and Elsie Walker, brother Arthur (WW2), sister Jean, and husband John Watt Allan. Mom cherished the friendships she made in life as much as the many dogs she loved over the years and leaves a large hole in the lives of those who knew her. Memories of her good will and humour helps fill the void. Special thanks to the many Personal Support Workers who provided care during the past few years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Anne's memory to the Hospital For Sick Children, North York General or the Church of the Ascension, Don Mills. A private service for immediate family will be followed by a celebration of Life at a later date.
