In memory of

Anne Sinclair

September 14, 1945 -  March 22, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Sinclair (nee Tomalty), who left us peacefully on March 22, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. Anne had a lengthy battle with cancer and is finally at rest. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her two children, Stacey and Rob, their spouses – Joe and Suzanna, and especially her loving grandchildren – Luke, Hayden, Emmett, Owen, Joel, Bella, Hannah and Olivia. Anne is survived by her brothers Russell and Robert, her sister Margo, and her husband Bob.

Anne was born Lucinda Lily Anne Tomalty, in Montreal in 1945 to parents Leonard and Amy Tomalty. She moved to Mississauga, Ontario to get married in 1967, and settled in Lorne Park to raise her family. Anne made many wonderful memories in Lorne Park through her passion for bridge, her involvement in Clarkson lacrosse and of course, her many years of coaching softball.

Anne faced challenges in her life but never met one she couldn’t overcome. She lived her life independently but affected everyone she met with her infectious laughter and kind spirit. Anne had a long, successful career in the film and television industry and made many good friends along the way. She was an avid baseball fan, passionately cheering her grandchildren on, and always closely following her beloved Toronto Blue Jays.

Anne will be missed by everyone including her dear friends Lorraine, Nelly, Deborah and Jonathan. Anne will be laid to rest at Mount Pleasant Cemetery and her memorial service will be held at Mount Pleasant Visitation Center on April 30th from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm.

We will always remember you, your smile and your wonderful and wicked sense of humour. These memories will carry us through until we meet again.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anne can be made to the Jays Care Foundation.
