Anne Carman-Norris
Peacefully passed away on September 7, 2017 at Lakeridge Health (Ajax). Wife of the late John Carman and Ronald G. Norris. Survived by daughter Elizabeth Ann Appleton-Hill (Tom Hill), and step granddaughter Shawna Hill. Predeceased by Son Patrick John Carman, grandson Robert (Robbie) Appleton and her siblings Helen, Peter and Mary. Anne is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Over the years Anne was very active in different aspects in the community. A special thanks to Carol Beam, parish nurse of St. Marks United Church for her prayers and support, and to Ajax, Pickering Emergency department for their excellent care. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Thornton Cemetery and Funeral Centre (1200 Thornton Road, North, 905-579-6787) from 12:30pm to 2:00pm. Memorial Service to follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or St. Marks Church.
