Mrs. Anna Hirmann of Courtland passed away at Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill Hospital on February 8th, 2025 in her 79th year.

Anna immigrated to Canada in 1969 at the age of 24 years old from Germany where she began a new life in Toronto with her husband, Anton. After 7 years, they began a new chapter farming in Norfolk County as tobacco producers. Anna was devoted to her family and spent many hours offering support to friends or volunteering in the community, hosting gatherings and graciously showcasing her culinary talents.

Beloved wife of the late Anton Hirmann. Loving mother of Anita (Jim) Hirmann-Arsenault. Cherished grandmother of Anthony, step-grandmother of Christopher. Anna will be greatly missed by many extended family members and friends both here and abroad.
