Anna and I worked together at Applewood 111 for many years. Following her retirement we remained very good friends sharing many laughs and tears over the years. Anna called us “ recycled teenagers “ . I will miss our Wednesday morning chats but know she’s now in a better place and out of pain .
Rest easy my friend ………..Brenda
Anna was a Very Special Lady! Whenever we got together with Paul and Anna, she was always smiling and laughing, her eyes just lit up. She made you feel like you were the only one in the room. I was very lucky to have her as my friend. My heart goes out to Paul and Family. She will always have a special place in my heart.
Anna and I met over 20 years ago in a yoga class. Side-by-side we practised yoga and then we went our separate ways. 15 years later she called me up out of the blue and said she wanted to join my yoga class. As a result of her inspiration, I started a Friday morning Senior yoga class. Anna was a founding member and an inspiration to everyone. She had a great lover plants and was very generous and knowledgeable. I still have several of her plants grown from cuttings. I will remember her with great fondness.
I met Anna at yoga classes at Clare Keith’s home. She was so friendly, always cared about how I was doing. She gave me some shoes and socks that she didn’t want anymore. The socks are Puma and I wear them most days and when I put them on I think of Anna and the generous person she was. I always thought of her with this huge heart, always wanting to do for others. May Anna’s soul be at peace and may everyone’s memories of her live on with comfort!
I knew Anna for a short time but long enough to know that she was someone very special.
