In memory of

Ann Winsloe Evelyn

June 28, 1936 -  December 10, 2023

Ann Winsloe Evelyn (nee Warder) was born June 28, 1936, in Birmingham, England. It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing on December 10, 2023, at the age of 87. Ann arrived in Canada in 1952, met her beloved husband Al in 1957, and for over 60 years, they shared a lifetime of memories until Al’s passing in 2018.

A longtime resident of Richmond Hill, Ann worked for the York Region School Board for many years in an administrative role. After retiring, Ann spent her winters in Florida with Al or cruising to faraway destinations with family and friends. When at home in Ontario, Ann would follow one of her many favourite Toronto sports teams.

Ann will be missed by her four children Cheryl, Wendy (John), Cathy, and Allan Jr (Odette). Ann was a proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren- Jason, Christopher, Matthew, Michael, Bryan, Cyr, Tyler, Morgan, Joshua, Alexandra, Noah, and five great grandchildren. Ann was predeceased by her parents, Frederick, and Ethel Warder, along with brother Donald. Ann leaves behind her loving sisters Mary, and Susan.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will take place on January 6, 2024, at the Elgin Mills Funeral Centre in Richmond Hill at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on behalf of Ann to the Alzheimer Society of Canada (www.alzheimer.ca), or the Arthritis Society Canada (www.arthritis.ca).
