Ann as you know lived a full life in Canada, but always stayed in touch with family in England. She morned the loss of both her son Mark and beloved husband, Tom; she felt great sadness for her estranged daughter, Tracy. Ann was further saddened by the loss of her older brother, Robert (my father) in July 2023.
Ann had a good if ,sometimes, cheeky sense humor. She was always interested to know how her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and of course, great-great nieces & nephews were doing.
Always, first in Ann's heart was her beloved granddaughter Amanda
My husband, myself and the Fletcher family in the UK are sad for Ann's passing. She will be fondly remembered and missed.
Ann I already miss you very much the phone rings and I think maybe it's Ann then I remember. I miss your sense of humour and your kindness both you and Tom taught me a lot about love and kindness. Rest in peace my friend. Miss you terribly.
Ann - A wonderful woman and a constsnt in my life since I was 11, helped me get my first job at the mall. Ann and Tom were inseperable and had a passion for "the good ol' days) doo-wop, pop and swing music. Ann would spend many weekends being side-kick in their old fashioned car and cruise the Scarborough roads. Now that was love - Ann & Tom!
When I think of Ann, I think of fun, caring, opinionated (yes - but good hearted) and a love for her friends and family. Ann had gone through pain that I couldn't imagine but she made it and I think thats because she had a knew love - her grandaughter Amanda - whilo brought so much love and happiness into her life as well as many friends (Pat, Emma, Sharon) to name a few.
As much as I want you here Ann - rest easy, I know you are finally at peace with Tom, Mark, Snoopy and the others along the way.
Never good-bye, until we meet again - I bet its beautiful up there.
Love Jennifer
I hope you had the time of your life....
