In Loving Memory of Anita Macaya Robles, Lovingly Known as “Bébé”

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Anita, affectionately known as “Bébé." She was a woman whose radiant spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She peacefully departed from this world on September 21, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family.

Anita, or “Bébé" as she was lovingly called, was born on July 15, 1971, and from the moment she graced this world with her presence, she brought boundless joy to all who crossed her path. She was a loving and devoted wife to Reynaldo Robles, and together they shared a deep and enduring love that served as an inspiration to those fortunate enough to witness it. Their love story was a testament to the power of unwavering devotion and unwavering support through the ups and downs of life.

As a mother to their two cherished sons, Reyan Robles and Harry Robles, “Bébé" embraced the role of motherhood with an open heart and a nurturing spirit. She was their guiding light, offering love, guidance, and unwavering support as they grew into the remarkable individuals they are today. Her legacy lives on through her sons, as they carry forward the lessons of kindness, resilience, and compassion she instilled in them. Her love for her daughter Stephanie Sapunto, fondly known as “Chichay”, separated from her since infancy, is a profound and unwavering force that transcends time and distance. Though years may have passed, the bond between mother and daughter remains unbreakable, a testament to the enduring power of maternal love. In the quiet moments of solitude, the mother's heart aches for the moments missed, the laughter unheard, and the milestones unshared. She always longing for the day when they can reunite and bridge the chasm that separates them. It is a love that fuels her determination, her unwavering commitment to be there for her daughter when the time is right, knowing that their reunion will be a beautiful testament to the resilience of love.

In addition to her role as a mother, “Bébé" was also a loving and devoted daughter. She cherished the bond she shared with her parents, Pablo Macaya and Graciana Macaya, and their relationship was a source of joy and support throughout her life.

Furthermore, as a supportive sister, “Bébé" shared a special bond that was built on love, trust, and shared experiences. They faced life's challenges together, supporting each other every step of the way.

“Bébé" was also a wonderful friend to many. Her warm smile, compassionate nature, and willingness to lend an empathetic ear endeared her to all who had the privilege of calling her a friend. Her friendships were deep-rooted, and she cherished the bonds she forged throughout her life. She was always there to offer a helping hand, a comforting word, or a shoulder to lean on in times of need.

Beyond her roles as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, “Bébé" was a person of many talents and passions. Her love for shopping and hunting for bargains was infectious, and she enriched the lives of those around her by sharing her talents and knowledge with enthusiasm and generosity.

In the face of life's challenges, “Bébé" demonstrated remarkable strength and resilience, reminding us all of the power of determination and grace in the most trying of times. Her ability to find beauty in every moment and spread positivity was a testament to her extraordinary spirit.

As we mourn the loss of Anita, we also celebrate her life, a life that was marked by love, laughter, and a profound sense of purpose. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and enduring friendship that will continue to touch the lives of many.

Her memory will forever live in our hearts, a shining example of the love and warmth that she shared so generously. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us in the days and years to come.

A viewing service to honour and celebrate Anita, or “Bébé," will be held on October 5, 2023 @ 1:00pm (EST) at Meadowvale Funeral Centre followed by funeral service at 2:00pm. We will bring her to eternal resting place at 3:00pm. All those whose lives she touched are welcome to join us in paying our respects and sharing our cherished memories.

Please join us in remembering and celebrating the beautiful life of Anita, a beloved wife, a devoted mother, a dear friend, and a beacon of love and light in our lives.

Rest in eternal peace, dear “Bébé." You will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
