ANGELA STAMATAKIS passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 03, 2023, in Ajax, Ontario at the age of 88. Devoted and loving wife to the late Nikolaos Stamatakis for 68 years. Beloved mother to Jimmy (Irene) and George (Annie) Stamatakis. Beloved grandmother to Nickolaos (Leila), Konstandinos (Katherine), Angie (Tasos) and Nickolaos (Emily). Beloved great grandmother to Lucia, Elena, Lydia, and Leonidas. Sister to the late Katerine, Voula, Tasia, Dimitrios, Theodore, Angelo, and John. Survived by Pota and Dennis. She lived her life with grace, generosity and laughter and will be terribly missed by all who knew her. Friends and family are welcome to the visitation at Pine Hills Cemetery on Thursday, October 5 between 4-8pm at 625 Birchmount Road (Toronto). A funeral service will be held at Saint John’s Greek Orthodox Church at 11am, at 1385 Warden Avenue (Scarborough). Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery 625 Birchmount Road (Toronto) . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
