Andrzej Chmura passed away on December 30, 2022 at the age of 81, at the Credit Valley Hospital. Andrzej died peacefully with his son by his side, after a very short illness. Caring husband for 55 years to his late wife, Barbara. He was a loving father to his oldest son Tomasz, his wife Eva, his daughter Magdalena and beloved dziadziu to his grandchildren Anna and Peter, as well as Anna’s husband Ryan, Peter’s wife Vanora and loving pradziadziu to Anna and Ryan’s children, Claire and Madeleine.
After the birth of their daughter, Magdalena and learning about her physical and mental challenges, Andrzej, alongside his late wife Barbara, dedicated their lives to the care of their disabled daughter. Until his most recent illness, he never stopped trying to improve Magdalena’s quality of life.
Another tremendous part of Andrzej’s life was his faith, especially in the last 35 years of his life.
For almost 25 years, both, him and his wife were co-ordinating The Perpetual Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament located at their parish’s chapel. Andrzej wrote many articles related to God, Catholic faith and prayers, in hopes of helping others to get closer to God.
Andrzej also cherished the times he could spend with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He will be missed dearly!
