It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew Iwo Rankowicz. Andrew passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on Sunday, October 16, 2022, in his home. His wife of 67 years was by his side at the time of his passing.

Andrew was born in 1932, in Poland to parents Wojtek and Sophia Rankowicz and lived there until he moved to Canada in 1961 with his wife and daughter Grace. He had a fulfilling career as an architectural designer and was proud of some of the landmarks he worked on that adorn the Toronto landscape.

He was an avid traveler and food aficionado and was always up for a good time. When departing friends he was known to wish them “good travels and good wine.”

He leaves behind his wife, Christine, his son Jack, his daughter-in-law Chantal, and was also the proud grandfather of Mark and Kristina Timms and Veronica Rankowicz and great granddaughter Trinity.
