In memory of

Andrew K Neretlis

January 8, 1962 -  February 4, 2023

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Andrew at Providence Health Care on February 4th, 2023 after a short battle with cancer.
Andrew is survived by his mother Pierina, brother John and his wife Susan, his nephew and niece Matthew and Katherine, and the many cousins, uncles and aunts that he loved so. Andrew was predeceased by his father Stacey.
Andrew faced the last challenge of his life, the way he lived his entire life: his own way. With his trademark stubbornness and humor, he bravely endured this illness up until the last moment. He will be sadly missed by all.
Donations in his memory to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated.

Uncle Andrew, as he was known to the Ellington Montessori family, will be missed. When he would come to collect his niece and nephew, Katie and Matt, Uncle Andrew was always up for a chat about this and that.

We remember you fondly Uncle Andrew.

Best,
Deborah Renwick

Ernie and I lost a good friend. The smile and the way your face lit up when I entered the room. You sat beside me with intent to listen and gently reach out your hand to hold mine. You were like a nephew to me. I know you would want me to tell your Mother, not to cry. Not to be lost in your absence. I know you would want me to tell your Mother to simply believe that you were in another room and not far from her side. My dearest, Pierina, I am sorry for the loss of your son. And to John, Susan, Matthew and Katie - remember the good times to help you through your grief.
