In memory of

Andrew Geisler

December 10, 1982 -  May 10, 2023

Andrew Paul Geisler,

On May 10, 2023 Andrew Geisler of Toronto, Ontario tragically lost his life.

Struggling with mental health issues, Andy was desperately trying to get his life back on track. Sadly, his cry for help was misunderstood and his life was taken. Our families are struggling with this outcome.

Andy was a shy, gentle and private person. He was extremely proud of the work he did as an Ironworker, with local 183.
He felt a sense of belonging in a group of people much like himself.

His friends referred to Andy as "The Gentle Giant".
Andy will be missed very much by his family and friends.
Andy is survived by his partner Sherri Mclean Calderwood
Mother Cathy Gordon Father Horst Geisler Grandmother (Omi) Pia Geisler
sister Lesley Geisler (Peter Godfrey) half sister Christine Dowling, aunts,
uncles and cousins.
A private service will be held by invitation.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to a charity of your choice

Many of my warmest childhood memories - mini golf at grandma's trailer, swimming at the cottage and family holidays - involve my dear, sweet cousin Andy. I will always hold on to these memories to remind me of his kind and gentle soul. I am deeply saddened by his challenging mental health struggles and his untimely death. Thinking of the rest of the family during this very difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers are with Cathy and Lesley as well as Hoss. Such a tragedy that didn't have to happen.
