It is with great sadness that the family of Andrew Ervin Dunn announce his passing on May 18, 2024, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 79, after a brief illness.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years Susan, daughter Diane (Mark) and son David (Deborah). He is forever in the hearts of his grandchildren – Nolan, Ryley, Sarah and Caitlin and will be missed by his extended family and friends.

His greatest joys were the simple things in life, spending time with family and friends or working on a new project. Even in retirement he always was busy, whether it was finding just the right plant for his garden, working on his vintage car, or undertaking his latest renovation.

He was a wonderful and devoted father and husband, and loved being a grandfather. He was always there to lend a hand to anyone who needed it or to just play a game with his grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Anne, brother William and sister Jean.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 1 at The Simple Alternative-Pickering, 1057 Brock Road, Pickering. A visitation will be held from 10:30am-11:30am, a few words will be spoken at 11:30am followed by a reception.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
