Surrounded by the love of her family, Andrée Dieca Cigna-Colella passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 9:00 p.m., at the age of 68.

Andrée was the beloved wife of the late Tommaso Colella, and the proud mother of her daughters, Almerinda Anne Colella and Claire Nuniza Colella, who will carry forward the lessons, love, and strength she imparted to them throughout their lives.

Andrée was born in St. Étienne, France, and later moved to Toronto, Canada, with her four brothers and two sisters. It was in Toronto that she flourished as a talented beautician and dedicated educator, sharing her passion for hairstyling with countless students.

Andrée faced the challenges of Multiple Sclerosis with remarkable resilience, never allowing it to define her spirit. Andrée will be fondly remembered for her authenticity, humour, courage, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on the 1st floor of the Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre: 375 Mount Pleasant Rd, Toronto, ON M4T 2V8

A second visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 10:00 -10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Monica's Catholic Church: 44 Broadway Ave, Toronto, ON M4P 1T4.

Next, please join us at the Mount Pleasant Mausoleum for entombment at 12:00 p.m., and a lunch reception on the 2nd floor of the Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
