September 10, 1944 - July 7, 2022

Andreas (Andrew) Sygounas passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 7th, 2022 in his 77th year. Andreas, loving husband of 52 years to Dina, beloved father to Harris (Peri) and Freda (Dimitri), and adored grandfather (pappou) to Andreas, Amanda, Kostas and Andreas.
Andreas will be greatly missed for his gentleness, caring and loving soul that has touched the lives of many of his family and friends, near and far.
The family will receive friends at the Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre On Tuesday, July 12 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm (625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough)
Funeral Service will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church on Wednesday July 13 at 11:00 am (30 Thorncliffe Park Dr.) Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, we kindly request that a donation be made in memory of Andreas to one of the three hospitals (Sunnybrook, University of Ottawa Heart Institute, and St. Michael's Hospital) that greatly impacted Andreas' life.

We are very sorry to hear the passing of your father and grandfather. Freda, thank you for sharing some of the wonderful stories about your dad.
