In memory of

Anastasios (Tom) Sipidias

March 10, 1930 -  January 18, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Anastasios (Tom) Sipidias on January 18th, 2022 in his 92nd year surrounded by his family. Tom was a loving and devoted husband to Maria (Romas) of 64 years, cherished father to Fanny, Alex (Lena) Tom was a proud and loving Dedo to his grandchildren Michael and Stephen.

Tom was born in the village of Gornicevo, Lerinsko on March 10th, 1930. He immigrated to Canada in 1958 and brought his wife Maria a year later. Tom worked in the restaurant industry since arriving in Toronto, working his way to becoming a chef for many years. He was a hard working man, loving husband and a great father and good provider to his family. He never stopped working and volunteering until his mid 80's in the banquet kitchen and as a church committee member of St. Dimitrija Solunski Macedonian Orthodox Church in Markham. He will deeply missed by his family, relatives and many friends. We love him dearly. May he rest in peace.

In remembrance of Tom’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to St. Dimitrija Solunski Macedonian Orthodox Church in Markham, or the Alzheimer Society Of Canada.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, all attendees must wear facemasks, be vaccinated and practice social distancing. Thank you
