When I was a teenager ,many decades ago,I drove with my mother to Toronto to visit relatives .We were to stay with my Theo Taos and Thea Assimina.I was a bit uncomfortable and anxious because I did not know these relatives too well. Why would they want us to stay with them ?
From the moment we arrived Theo Taos welcomed me with such warmth, kindness and love that I instantly felt part of his immediate family .A connection that has lasted six decades later.
He was an amzazing, honest relative who meant the world to my entire family .
He gave me the gift of family
I will miss him dearly .
