It is with broken hearts to announce the sudden and tragic passing of Ana Stroescu on January 10, 2025, surrounded by her family. Ana was born in Nojorid, Bihor, Romania. She is survived by her loving daughter Annemarie and her son-in law Nicolae along with her 2 grandchildren, Mihai and Adrian, and 4 grand-grand children Chris, Victoria, Finn and Saoirse (Suri).

Ana’s greatest joy came from spending time with family especially with her beloved grandchildren and grand-grand children, as well as reading and learning new things constantly, watching movies and travelling.

Words are not enough to describe her goodness, kindness, generosity and love for her family, friends, co-workers and all who knew her and the impact she made on all our lives.

A visitation will be held at York Funeral Centre on January 16, at 1:00 p.m., followed by the religious service at 2:00 p.m. The burial will take place afterwards at York Cemetery. Following the burial, a reception will be held at our house 69 Stuart Crescent, in North York.

The family would like to thank everyone for their condolences during this time.

May her soul rest in peace in Heaven along with her daughter Mihaela and her parents Ileana and Petre, and may her memory be eternal.
You will forever be missed, Buni and will remain always in our hearts.
