In memory of

Amber Anne Powell

January 2, 1958 -  April 9, 2020

It is with deepest regret, that we announce the sudden passing of Amber Anne Powell. A courageous and patient person, Amber will be forever missed by her daughter Daniella Powell, her son-in law Devon, and her granddaughter Anastasia. She will be remembered fondly by her many good friends (including but not limited to) Jill Todd, Fern and Lou Gervasi, Emily Turco, Terri Stewart, and Betty Bourguignon. She leaves behind her fur-baby Maya, who has found comfort in Daniella's home. Over the course of her sixty-two years, Amber fought hard to find and achieve happiness. She was a highly skilled carpenter, mechanic, gardener and contractor. She took pride in her home and was a lover of all animals. She had a great sense of humor and was a source of many laughs. She will be missed dearly, but the memories her family and friends hold of her will forever fill their hearts. Though we grieve for her loss, we are content knowing she now rests in peace and no longer feels any pain.

Amber had a infectious smile and laugh. Her laugh was incredibly contagious, it started as a low rumble and then exploded as she threw her head back and put her manicured hand up in the air - when something was genuinely or entertaining. She had a bright and mischievous smile that would reach her the eyes. She always spoke about kindness and paying it forward. Amber was fierce, bold, gentle, soft, kind, and true. So many people live a life that has to sit in line with what society deems as okay - Amber didn't care about any of that. Amber only cared about what was Authentic. She loved hard and she felt deeply.
Rest peacefully beautiful Angel,

Thank you or giving me the most beautiful best friend. I promise to always be there for her.
Thank you for giving Sam the most perfect doggy paradise.

I pray you have found the peace that you always craved.

Love always,

Shianne

Amber was unapologetic for who she was. She loved fashion, makeup and everything pink. She was sassy, funny and loved by many. She had the most infectious laugh. When she loved, she loved with her whole heart. There are no words to describe how much I will miss her. I think of her everyday with fond memories. Love you forever and a day Amber. Always

I’m so grateful that Amber was a big part of my childhood! I had the privilege of seeing her everyday when she lived in our home. She always made me laugh, daily making fun of my crocs. She put my first swing up in my backyard and I will never forget her. I’m deeply sorry that we lost her.

Love + Sympathy,

From; Emily Gervasi
