In memory of

Alton Martin

May 22, 1964 -  December 27, 2021

With his wife at his side, Alton Martin, 57, of Brampton, Ontario, passed away on December 27 2021.

He was born to parents Rema Martin (Nee Brown) (deceased) and Calvin Martin, on May 22 1964 in Jamaica.

Alton worked as a Welder with Snapon Tools for many years. Before that he was a mover and truck driver for various companies including Leon’s and Collins and Greig

Alton was married to Janet Scott-Martin on July 30th in Toronto, Ontario. Together they raised 4 children: Sloane Martin, Triston Martin, Shaniece Martin and Tariq Martin.

Alton will be remembered by all as a man of many words, with a great sense of humor. He was constantly willing to tell a joke, or pull a prank, even if he knew he would be caught. He was constantly willing to make new friends and strike up a conversation anywhere he went. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who’ve met him.

The family has entrusted Meadowvale Funeral Home and Cemetery with the arrangements. A Visitation is scheduled for Friday January 21 from 4pm to 8pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday January 22 from 10am to 12pm, and the burial will be held at 1pm at 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton ON, L6Y 5L5.
