In memory of

Allysandra "Ally" Cervantes

February 19, 1988 -  January 9, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Allysandra Maria Cervantes, known to all as Ally, who left us on January 9, 2025, at the age of 36 in her home in Pickering, Ontario. The eldest daughter of Angel and Kim, Ally is survived by her parents, her dear sister Michelle (Josh), her precious nephew Brodie, and her Abuelita, Maria (Mama). She is also remembered with love by her extended family, including aunts, uncles, cousins, and second cousins, all of whom she cherished deeply. She was predeceased by her Nana, Papa, Uncle Tic Tac (Linda), Abuelo, Miguel and many other loved ones who live on in our memories.

Ally loved her sister Michelle, whether travelling, gathering with friends, adventuring, shopping, web sniping for the latest and greatest online trends or a quiet afternoon visiting. She loved to find her the absolute best and unique gifts at Christmas time.

Josh was an immediate brother to Ally, along with just having you near Josh, she loved you very much. Especially when you were doing silly things or being at the pool. She adored you.

Ally looked forward to the wedding of Michelle and Josh, so much, she purchased her dress right away so that she had time to tweak and align it with her vision for such a special occasion.

Ally was Tia Loca to her precious Nephew Brodie. She loved to sing to him, be silly, and spoil him rotten. Always searching for the latest looks and fun toys/activities to do. Boom Boom Brodster, Tia Loca will watch over you and protect you. ❤️

Her smile was contagious, her nature silly and joyful, her compassion endless. She made friends wherever she went, her kindness and authenticity touched the lives of all who knew her. Whether it was offering support to someone in need or bringing joy to those around her, Ally was always present.

Ally’s heart was as big as her talent and her creative spirit shone through in every aspect of her life. A graduate of George Brown College, she found her calling as a Fashion Design Photographer, quickly becoming a recognized and celebrated figure in the industry. Her work, recognized with numerous awards from professional associations in Toronto, Montreal, the United States, England, France, and Germany, graced the pages of industry periodicals and magazines like *Vogue*. Ally’s creations were extraordinary. A testament to her boundless imagination and dedication to her craft. Ally’s imagination knew no limits. She had a gift for making anything possible; connecting people, bringing ideas to life, and celebrating the beauty in everything. A true visionary and dreamer, Ally made the world more colourful with her presence. Her achievements were nurtured by the support of her extended Pattison family, including Godmother Lorette, Auntie Linda, and esteemed Creative Directors Jim Foster and Rick Ferrara. They helped shape Ally into the visionary artist she became, and we are forever grateful for their love and care.
Christmas was her favorite time of year, and every Christmas morning, her joyous “Merry Christmas!” could be heard echoing through the house. Her enthusiasm was infectious, ensuring that no one could sleep through the magic Christmas morning.

Ally’s Uncle Alvaro and Aunt Pam; Erica (Joe), Andrea (Andre), Alex were paramount in her growth as a person and an artist, providing her with not only the encouragement to be bold, but a safe space with your never ending love and unwavering support. We are eternally thankful for their presence in her life.
Together, with the Zincone family, she was a design Wizard and had found her counterparts in Suzy and Bob. The trio were unstoppable with giving any concept life and celebrating even the smallest occasions. There is nothing mediocre about anything Ally, Suzy and Bob did. Nothing. We thank you all for your support of her creativity.

To Chris, Francine, and their children, Gemma, Luna, Jolene and Evelyn; you were Ally’s heart and soul. Thank you for loving her with such devotion.

Her best friend and cousin Krista, along with Gabe, Debbie, Steve, and Karen, meant the world to her. Ally cherished your bond and carried you in her heart every day.

Bree Bree, Ally considered herself your big sister, your guide, your protector. Especially while shopping for your graduation outfit, much to the behest of conservative Aunt Kim. You were beautiful.

Ally’s love for her family knew no bounds. From her aunts and uncles to her many cousins and beyond, she embraced her extended family, always keeping them close in her heart. Attending her first ever Springsteen concert with Stacey, Jay, Aunt Lin, Aimee and Brayden, Mom and Dad in honour of her Uncle Tic Tac, whom she adored; along with her recent Post Malone concert outing with Aimee and Chris not to mention the great hotel after party! Gathering with family made her very happy. Although our family is large, we hope you know how much she loved and appreciated you all.
The love we share as a family sustains us through this time of grief.

We offer heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us since Ally’s passing. Your presence, outpouring of love, condolences, flowers, food, and words of comfort have meant the world to us.

Ally, you are deeply loved and profoundly missed. You have left an indelible mark on this world, and your spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing you.

Rest in peace, dear Ally. Your legacy lives on in the lives you touched, the art you created, and the love you shared with all of us.

Visitation will be held at Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. To follow, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 3200 Pharmacy Avenue, Scarborough at 2 p.m.
