Barnes, Allan Isaac, 85, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2017 at Ontario Shores, in Whitby, surrounded by the love of his family. Beloved husband to the late Bernadette (Betty), (nee LoVecchio), father to Rick (wife Lynn) & Debbie (husband Tony); loved Grandpa to Ryan, Daniel, Matthew, Veronica & Nicole. The Family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Ontario Shores GDU for their compassionate care and support. A Celebration of Life will be held at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Monday December 4, 2017 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations would be graciously appreciated to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region or Ontario Shores, Geriatric Dementia Unit, Whitby.
