It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Allan Norman Christie (Al) on October 28th 2023 at the age of 81, peacefully at home surrounded by his devoted wife Grace Clara Payne and their children; Todd (Lucy), Dawn (Adam), Dan (Janet), Jim (Christin).
Al is also survived by brothers Charles James (Barbara) and George Andrew. Al is blessed with grandchildren Brittany (Adam), Stephanie (Luke), Audrey (C.J.), Derek, David (Sarah), Marina, Alexandra (Johnny), Alyssa, and great grandchildren Easton, Everly, Adrian, Olivia.
Al was loved and respected by his extended families and many friends. He is predeceased by parents Kenneth Carleton and Winnifred May, Brother William (Joan), Aunt Daisy Francis, and cherished wife Mary Minni Morse.
Al retired from the TTC in January 2002. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed golfing (shot his age) and also loved watching the Blue Jays just as much as watching his grandchildren play sports, he was their #1 fan.
Al and Grace spent many years traveling, when they retired, they spent more time Globetrotting with Bob and Donna.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Durham Palliative Care. A very special thank you to his children and grandchildren for their love and compassionate care.

I send my love and sympathies to Al's whole family. He was such a nice man (but very quick with the quiet jokes). He had a heart of gold. He had an amazing love of life. And he loves with all his heart. Rest Easy Al.
