Alice Sawh

March 25, 1928 -  July 15, 2024

Alice was born on March 25, 1928, in Good Success, Wakenaam, Essequibo, Guyana, South America, to the late Josephine and Charles Lloyd. She met and was married to the late Frank Kokil Sawh who she shared 57 years of marriage. Alice was the sister of the late Rosalind, Ellen, Dorothy, Marie, Eva, Harold and James.

Alice leaves behind her loving children Philip, Peter, Ruby, Ramona and Rosina. Alice was predeceased by her sons Paul and Patrick. Alice was the loving and caring Grandmother of Rickhi, Renata, Romel, Raymond, Andy, Mariesa, Mary, Patricia, Monika, and Erik. Great grandmother of Theodore, Elizabeth, Devan, Marcas, Valerie, Reya, Isabelle, Madelyn and Emmett. Alice also leaves behind a lot of nieces and nephews who she loved and cared for in their formative years.

Visitation will take place on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Pine Hills Funeral Centre (625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough) from 10-11am. Funeral Services will begin at 11am with Interment to follow.

My Aunt Alice was a loving, kind and caring person and an important part of my childhood.
Living on another continent it was not easy to visit as much as I would have liked to but her daughter Ruby kept me updated on her wellbeing.
We will all miss her. RIP
