Peacefully passed away on July 24, 2023 at her home. Cherished wife of Nabil for 59 years, proud mother of Mona (Rico) and Nadia (Jaime). Born in 1936 in Jaffa, Palestine Alice married in Lebanon and eventually settled in Toronto, Canada in 1976 to raise her family. Alice was passionate in all pursuits, whether cooking a lovely meal for one of the many weekly family gatherings at her home, caring for her children, nieces, and nephews, as an expert seamstress and knitter, or heartily cheering on her cherished Toronto Maple Leafs.

Her greatest joy was being close to those she loved, prioritizing the needs of others ahead of her own, always with love and grace. She will be dearly missed by the many for whom she brought joy and laughter and will live forever in our hearts.

Family and friends will be received at Pine Hills Cemetery and Visitation Centre (625 Birchmount Road, north of St. Clair Ave E., Scarborough, 416-267-8229) on Thursday July 27, 2023 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Flowers may be forwarded to Pine Hills Cemetery and Visitation Centre on Thursday July 27, by 1:00pm.
