<div itemprop="description">Alice LeBlanc (nee Preisler)<br />Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015 at the age of 83. Beloved sister of Dorothy Roberts and Max Preisler (predeceased). She will be greatly missed by her children Debra, David (Shelley), Duncan (Janine) and Daniel. Cherished Nana to Brandon, Patricia, William and Lindsay. Mom was passionate about family, friends and faith, and will be sorely missed by all.<br />She was born and raised in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia and then the Eastern Townships, Quebec. She moved to Montreal and was a dedicated Registered Nurse, having graduated from Royal Victoria Hospital. After several years overseas, she settled in Toronto. Alice was devoted to the Footprints Summer Day Camp in her community.<br />Her family is most grateful for the palliative care provided by the Temmy Latner Centre<br />Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept 11 from 5-8 pm at Mount Pleasant Visitation Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto.<br />Funeral service will be on Saturday, Sept 12, 11 am at St. Marks Presbyterian Church (1 Greenland Road, Toronto). Light refreshments will follow the service. The interment will take place at 2 pm, Mount Pleasant Cemetery Section J.<br />Flowers are welcome. Donations may be made to St. Mark&rsquo;s Presbyterian Church (earmarked &ldquo;Footprints&rdquo;), or the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation (earmarked &ldquo;Temmy Letner Centre for Palliative Care&rdquo;). <br /><br /><br /></div>
