In memory of

鄺區轉好夫人 Alice Jean How Kwong

June 20, 1947 -  July 31, 2022

Alice Kwong (née Jean How Au), 75, of Toronto, Ontario passed away on July 31, peacefully in her sleep after a 13-year battle with Devic's disease which eroded her eyesight and mobility. She was born to Hung Lin Lee and Yao Puk Au in Guangdong Province, China and immigrated to Canada in 1964 by way of Hong Kong with the assistance of her grandfather who was an early settler in Canada and worked on the railroad that now unites Canada from coast to coast. She was married to Gary Kam Pui Kwong on September 1970 and is survived by her children Jenifer (spouse Late Alain), Marcus (spouse Kate) and Austin (spouse Linda) and her grandchildren Izabella, Kian, Tristen, Maxim and Adrian.

Alice was dedicated to her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who passed on her hard work ethic, love for cooking and good food to her children. As her health declined, she still appreciated good simple food, with fresh fruits and vegetables being her favourite. Alice loved her family most and she showed that love by cooking delicious meals with recipes she mostly leaned by seeing or tasting only once and shared with all. Next to her family and cooking, she enjoyed fitness, collecting coins & stamps, her garden and plants. Alice was devoted to her family and leaves nothing but beautiful memories.

Friends and Family who wish to honour her may do so by donating to Yee Hong or Monsheong (links below), or sending flowers to York Cemetery. Viewing and her celebration of life will be held on Thursday August 4th.
