Alice Elizabeth Hein

June 10, 1935 - September 9, 2023

Alice Elizabeth Hein, 88 years of age, passed peacefully on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Alice was born on June 10, 1935 in Holland. Predeceased by her devoted husband, the late Gunter Hein with whom she shared 48 years of marriage.

Loving mother of four children, Robert (Joan), Kimberley (Terry), Rose-Marie, and Tim (Tammy). Cherished Omi to Jessica, Eric, Stephanie, T.J., Chad, Amanda, Amber-Lee, Katelyn, Lindsey, Matthew and Alexander. Alice was known for her flashy wardrobe, quick wit and wonderful sense of humour.

Special thanks to Kim, Terry, Tim & Tammy over the past several years for their loving care of our mother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. May god bless Alice & keep her in his loving arms. We love you mom.

We knew Alice for many many years as neighbours and friends. We had many good times together both at their house as well as ours. Gunter loved to come to our house for social time and we have many fond memories of the laughs and stories we shared over the years. Alice will never be forgotten and will always be in our thoughts. We send our condolences to everyone in the family.

We were so sad to hear of Alice's passing. She and Gunter were such good friends and neighbors for many years, and we saw all their children grow up together along with our own children. Many wonderful memories. Our sympathies & condolences to all of her wonderful family.
