A loyal and trusted officer who cared about others. A proud PRPS and RUC officer who always was an asset to Policing. Boyd always had time for others. I respected his professional service and expertise. He is one officer who cannot easily be replaced but he can R.I.P. that he always gave his all. I will remember Boyd with great fondness and respect. One of many fine Irishmen who joined PRPS. I hope the support of friends and fellow officers help Boyd,s family at this difficult time.

Boyd touched the hearts of all who knew him. He treated people with the respect they deserved, even if they didn't believe it. He will be remembered by everyone that knew him. Rest gently my friend.
