In memory of

Aleksandar Karapalevski

April 24, 1934 -  March 16, 2025

We sadly announce the peaceful passing of Aleksandar Karapalevski on March 16, 2025 at the age of 90 years old. Aleksandar was born on April 24, 1934 in the village Surlenci in Prespa, Macedonia to parents Naume and Mila.

Aleksandar was a loving husband to Vesa Karapalevski and a devoted Father to three sons ILIA (Wife Lila), Krume (Wife Pandora) and Dance. He was a caring Dedo to Dianna, Stefanie (Husband Michael), Alexander (Wife Elizabeth), and Daniel. In addition, Aleksandar was a fun loving Great Grandfather to Olivia, James ILIA, Jack, Patrick, Christian and Michael. He was a Brother to Rodna, Zlatka, Krume, Krste, Georgi and Kice. He was an Uncle to many nieces and nephews and loving cousin.

Aleksandar was known to many of his friends and family as Sandre. He immigrated from Macedonia to France to work on a farm and finally came to Toronto, Canada making it his forever home in 1967. He was a hard working man that enabled future prosperity for his family which they can now enjoy. Sandre was always loving, very social, and everyone always enjoyed his company because he loved to sing and dance. He would make his presence known into every room he walked into, his confidence and vibrant personality is what drew people closer to him.

Sandre always had a love for his birth country Macedonia. Upon retiring he built a vacation home in his birth village of Surlenci in which he spent wonderful summers with his wife and family for the past 25 years.

He was devoted to God and was very religious to his Orthodox Christian faith. He would always pray and bless every member of his family with every greeting and goodbyes.

We will miss him dearly and our family will not be the same without him. We know he will always be watching over us, praying over us and guiding us

To Krume, Danny and family. So sorry to hear of chicho Sande's passing. My family knew him for decades. He always had a warm heart when he saw us. He was such a doting dedo too. So proud.
