With heavy hearts, we announce that our beloved Alex, lovingly known as Pops and Grampy, has passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his devoted wife Arlene, daughter Sharon and husband Richard, grandchildren Alisha, Ethan and Miranda, daughter Louella, husband Suresh and granddaughter Madeleine. He will also be missed by his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and their families and extended family here and abroad.

Special thanks to his devoted caregivers from CarePartners and the Recharge Program, Dr. Wale Guirguis and Dr. Stephen Mackenzie and Dr. Anthony Vetesse. and family and friends who supported Alex through his difficult journey.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Alex. He was a sweet man who was very talented. He was a loving and devoted husband to Aunty Arlene and a great father to Sharon and Lou. I will truly miss my Godfather. May he rest in peace.
