Albert Kin-Min Wu Young Tai
May 2, 1954 - November 4, 2023
It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Albert Kin-Min Wu Young Tai on November 4, 2023, beloved son of Mary K Wu Young Tai and George Wu Young Tai(deceased) and dear brother of Kin Man (Seeta), Kin Fong Rosemarie (Foster), Kin Fan (Paul) and Kin Pound (Ami). Albert Kin Min was much loved Uncle of ShanMei (Zion), Kaniska (Rebecca), SiuFan, Gehung (Winnie) and WeiGe Allan, Grand- Uncle of San’aa, Shiloh, Maggie, Ada and Nia.
Albert Kin Min was born and grew up in Trinidad, W.I. He was the best of his siblings in Arts and Languages, as evident in his outstanding performance at the Cambridge O” levels examination. Sadly, in his last year of college his body engaged him differently to throw his mind and soul into disarray.
He then immigrated to Toronto with his family, who with the network and various facilities in Toronto provided him the support to face the challenges of his medical issues. He graduated from George Brown College with a diploma in Activation Coordinator.
With the help of the numerous professionals, friends and family who stood by him on his journey up to the last days, Albert Kin Min was more relaxed, reconciled with what he saw and perceived and at peace.
To his friends and associates, Albert was very amiable and showed much concern with, and kindness to people especially disadvantaged and troubled.
In his heart and action, Albert Kin Min strove to be a Christian. May he Rest in Peace in the bosom of His God.
The family will like to thank all the many professionals, friends and caregivers who provided loving compassionate care for Albert along his lifelong journey.
A funeral mass service will be held at St Michael’s Cathedral Basilica, 65 Bond St, Toronto, on Thursday November 16, 2023 at 10 am. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Albert Kin Min’s memory to Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. (https://give.camh.ca)
