In memory of

Alan Derek Wallbanks

June 12, 1948 -  October 29, 2025

Alan Wallbanks, son of the late Betty and Derek Wallbanks & brother to the late Carol Handfield (Wallbanks), born in Woking UK moving to Canada with his family in the late 1950s. Passed away suddenly in the early hours of Wednesday, October 29th.
A friend to animals, nature/plant lover and a true car enthusiast (anything Chevy related).
His niece (Alyson) & nephew (Cameron) would like to invite anyone who wishes to attend a small gathering/visitation to honor his life Friday 7th November from 3pm- 5pm. There will not be any formal speeches but would love anyone who knew him to come, and share some memories and honor his life before we say goodbye.

Your family will miss you uncle Al

Al was a good human. He genuinely respected and preserved nature on a daily basis, studying, preparing for and nurturing both plant and animal life throughout the changing seasons. He quietly helped us/looked out for our safety and comfort without drawing attention to his efforts and was always happy to stop and chat, no matter what the weather, for hours. We will miss him very much and will always be grateful to him for the positive impact he made: His friendship, stories, life lessons, his devotion to and respect for animal and plant life and especially for bringing his most special family into our lives. We will always remember you with a smile, Al!

Ronald Handfield (brother in law)

Al was a quiet man, but always willing to help. He enjoyed being with his plants and cars. Enjoyed the fishing trips to the summer location,
