Peacefully on April 21st, 2023 in her 91st year, Aileen Margaret Riggs. Born in Midland, Ontario to her late mother, Essie Rhonda Crawford; Aileen was 1 of 11 children. Predeceased by her cherished husband, Leslie Clarence Riggs, Aileen and Leslie shared 30 years of marriage together. Also predeceased by two children, Harvey and Donald Moreau. She is survived by her two children Terry Riggs and Catherine Reeves; and her siblings, Carol, Linda, Wilma, Harry and Orton. Proud Grandma to Michelle, Jason, Stephanie, LeeAnn, Christopher Moreau, Maddison, Nicholas Reeves and several great-grandchildren. Loving Aunt to all of her nieces and nephews.

Aileen enjoyed attending Glenn Ayr United Church. In her spare time, you could often find her crocheting Afghans, knitting scarfs, slippers and she loved Bingo. Aileen worked as a department head for 30 years at the Hudson Bay Company and Simpsons. In previous years, she worked on the lake boats as a cook and did peace work when she was 16 years old. For the last 6 months of her life, Aileen enjoyed living at Livita Parkway Retirement Home. Aileen will be missed but will remain forever in our hearts and never be forgotten.
