Agnes Mark

July 14, 1928 -  May 14, 2024

Surrounded by the love of her family, Agnes passed away peacefully on May 14, 2024 at the age of 95. Agnes always had a smile for everyone. She was a kind, compassionate, gentle and caring mother, Oma and friend.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Melchior. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Stephen Mark (Cindy) and Marian Grinnell (Dale) and a proud and loving Oma to Meghan (Simon), Shannon (Steven), Bennet (Janine) and Amanda(Davis). She will be greatly missed by her sister-in-law’s Rosina Boehm and Eva Mark and her nieces and nephews and their families. Family and friends is what Agnes cherished most.

Agnes was born in Hungary to Jacob and Maria Huber growing up with her 3 sisters, Karolina, Maria and Annush. Agnes immigrated to Canada where she met and married her husband of 45 years, Melchior. Agnes was a proud and active member of the Donaushwaben Club and DS Park. Agnes could always be relied on to lend a helping hand and support everyone. She was the center of our universe. She will be remembered and missed.

Family and friends will be received at Pine Hill Cemetery and Funeral Centre 625 Birchmount Rd. Toronto, M1K 1R1 on Friday, May 17th.

Visitation 9-11 am

Service 11am

Burial and reception to follow.
