January 9, 1931 – July 9, 2017

Passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital. Agnes Kameka of Oakville in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Eric Kameka. Dear mother of Caroline of Tillsonburg and Sandra & Brent of Mississauga. Sadly, missed by her grandchildren James and Melissa. Survived by her brother George Stavert and predeceased by her other brother Adam Stavert and parents Adam & Elizabeth Stavert.

Agnes truly enjoyed her life and was always game to try any adventure we as a family presented her. Agnes and Eric would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in six weeks on August 24, 2017.

She will be laid to rest at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Friday July 14th, 2017. There will be a brief visitation at the cemeteries’ chapel from 12-1, an inside service from 1-2, next a grave side service from 2-2:30 and a brief reception to follow.

Dear Sandra and Caroline,

I was sorry to hear of your mom's passing. It's been quite some time since we have seen each however I do remember all the good times we had together when we were young. Your mom had a great smile and a big heart! I will remember my Aunt Agnes.

Agnus was a part of my childhood and although I've not seen her much in my adult years the first thing that comes to mind when I think of her is that she was always full of laughter. I can remember many family & friend dance parties with her dancing and laughing with everyone. She was a close friend to my parents who will miss her greatly. My love to Eric, Caroline and Sandra and families.
