It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at home surrounded by her loved ones. She is at peace and reunited with her dear late husband, Chih Ying Cheng.

Agata was born in Pescara, Italy, to loving parents Cheming Hu and Antonietta Scarponcini. She is survived by her sons; Dali (Anna) and Tash (Yvonne), and her daughters; Lihua (Yongjie) Zhang and Liping (Jianwu) Wang. She was a beloved grandmother to Lisa (Junwen) Ke, Antonietta, Elia, Kaiden, Fan, Caroline, Alex, Antonia and Michael, and a cherished great grandmother to Xiang Zhang, Weihao and Huangrui Ke. She will be dearly missed by her sister Gina, nieces and nephews, and her friends near and abroad. She will be remembered fondly for her kindness and generosity; and will forever be in our hearts.
