With great sadness the family of Adele Downey announce her peaceful passing, in her sleep, in her 91st year at Trillium Manor in Orillia Ontario on Wednesday July 13th 2022.
Beloved mother of Gillian (Frank) and Bryan as well as Susan and Margaret, predeceased by her husband James Downey, mother Brita and father Joseph. Cherished sister to Barbara, niece Felicia (Miguel), cousins Lena (Matti), Tiina, Olavi, Leif.
Adele will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends and fondly remembered for her incredible sense of humour.
Memorial Service will take place on
Tuesday July 19th at Elgin Mills Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Centre at 2:00pm.
The Family will receive guests one hour prior to the service time.
