All through my life, 5 Gooma has played a major role. From age 3/4 when I first arrived in HK from Mainland China, I started to enjoy the overwhelming mothering love of 5 Gooma. Constantly pampering, wonderful homemade treats and motherly life advice filled my childhood years. Fast forward to 1988, when 5 Gooma immigrated to Toronto. All those wonderful childhood memories all were relived. 5 Gooma has been instrumental in introducing my husband to me. One can say that everything that makes my life now, 5 Gooma had a hand in the making, from culinary skills to interpersonal skills.
Words can not describe the love and admiration I have for 5 Gooma. Her passing has left a big hole in my heart. Wished I had spent more time with her in these recent years.
