Yuk King Cho 曹玉琼太夫人

December 20, 1936 -  September 27, 2025

Yuk King (Lau) Cho, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on the evening of September 27, 2025 at the age of 88, surrounded by family in Toronto, Ontario.

Yuk King was born in Renhe, Guangzhou province area, China and she was the youngest of nine children and escaped the hardships of war.

She is survived by her children: Hung (Elaine), Sui (Daniel), Suet (George, deceased) and Gina (Jay); and 6 grandchildren: Justin (Linda), Jason (Eula), Lindsay, Simon, Emily, and Elise; and 3 great-grandchildren: Jacob, Lucas, and Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her husband (Kui Ping) and eight older siblings.

Yuk King will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her outspoken nature, and the love she expressed through her food and care. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday October 4th, 2025 at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre. A reception will also be held afterwards (location TBD).

I'm so sorry about your Grandma Justin. I know the bond you two shared was something really special. She found so much joy in watching her family grow, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were everything to her. She lived such a courageous and beautiful life and her life will continue to live on in all of you. I pray that you find comfort in all the love that you shared through life.
