In Loving Memory of Winnie Hang See Leung

With deep sorrow and love, we remember Winnie Hang See Leung, who passed away on August 7th, 2024. Winnie was the beloved wife of Lock Sing, a devoted mother to Justin, and a treasured mother-in-law to Dorothy. Her heart overflowed with love for her grandchildren, Nathanael and Bethany, who were her greatest joy.

Born and raised in Hong Kong as the fourth of eight children, daughter to the late Hui Bun and Wai Bor, Winnie completed her schooling in Hong Kong at Sacred Heart Canossian College before pursuing her university education at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in the United States. She then moved to Montréal, Canada, before eventually making her home in Toronto. She had a keen eye for fashion and loved dressing beautifully, always presenting herself with elegance and grace.

Winnie was known for hosting warm and memorable Thanksgiving dinners, which became cherished traditions. Her gatherings were filled with love and joy, creating lasting memories for all who attended.

She also loved visiting Hong Kong during Christmas, a tradition that brought her great happiness. Her thoughtful gifts reflected her generous and caring nature. Winnie had a big family and many cherished friends, all of whom she loved deeply. She treasured every moment spent with them and made countless cherished memories.

We feel her absence deeply and miss her warmth, her laughter, and the special love she shared with her family and friends. To honour her memory, we invite those who wish to pay tribute to consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society. This gesture would celebrate her life and support the fight against cancer.
