William Thomas Kumpf (“Tommy”), 64, of Toronto died suddenly on Monday June 13th from complications due to health issues that developed over the last few years.

Tommy was born September 20, 1951, in Lindsay, Ontario, grew up in Belleville and was a Toronto resident for all his adult life. He worked as a commercial & residential property assessor for the City of Toronto and the GTA.

He is preceded in death by mother Agnes May Cowie of Buckie, Scotland and father Donald Young Kumpf of Toronto, Ontario.

Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 22nd at the Simple Alternatives funeral home on 275 Lesmill in Toronto (address details on website). This will be followed directly by a religious service on-site at 12pm. Upon concluding, a reception will be held (1-3pm) at Simple Alternatives as well. Private family internment at Mount Hope Cemetery in Toronto will follow at a later date.

Contributions in memory of Tommy may be made to The Salvation Army (his favourite charity because of the help they provided our soldiers during the two great wars of the 20th century) – attached link is on this website memoriam.
