Passed away peacefully in his 88th year at the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017 with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Margaret for 64 years. Cherished father to Rick, Sandy and Jim. Loving grandfather to Tammy, Jess and Mike. Bill enjoyed many things throughout his life. His Family, the cottage, His 32 years working for Pyrotenax of Canada, his woodworking and cheering for his teams, ever hopeful that the Leafs would see another Stanley Cup. Family and Friends will be received at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE- MISSISSAUGA 1535 South Gateway Road (at Dixie Road, two lights south of Eglinton) 905-602-1580 on Tuesday, July 11th, 2017 for a Celebration of Life at 2pm. Memorial Gathering one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides https://www.dogguides.com in honour of Bill would be appreciated by the family.

Mrs. Leitch, Sandy and Family, I feel so fortunate to have known Mr. Leitch. A true life force, so full of energy, enthusiasm and smiles. The huge gap that he leaves on earth will be matched by the brightest star in the sky as his energy emanates from Heaven. Thinking of all of you and feeling your sorrow. Maureen.

We were so very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We have so many fond memories of our Arizona travels....particularly our helicopter ride together over the Grand Canyon, listening to "What a Wonderful Word" and indeed it is.
