Peacefully in his 93rd year surrounded by family at Sunnybrook HSC. Survived by his loving wife, Violet Alice, daughters, Susan and Louise, and son, Bill (Dianne), as well as many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special thanks to family, friends and caregivers for their support .

I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad, Husband and friend who I always had the utmost respect for. What a privilege it was knowing him. Always happy and friendly. A role model for an esteemed family man. I will sincerely miss our guitar jams, humble stories about the war and quiet talks. I had never felt so welcome and part of this amazing family.
