<div itemprop="description">Passed away peacefully at Toronto East General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Phillip and Emma and his brothers Robert and Samuel. Survived by his wife Mary and their four children Bernard, Robert, John and Sharon. His special nephew John and his wife Muriel, who were a son and daughter to him and gave him 5 grandchildren Bobbie, Billie, Michael, Samantha and Stephanie and 14 great-grandchildren. Brothers- and sisters-in-law, especially Val and Bonnie, who were like a son and daughter to him. Numerous nephews and nieces, who held a special place in his heart. Honourable mention to his niece Pauline and her husband Ron, who were on call and available to take him anywhere he needed to go and supported the family. Thanks to his care worker Marie Claire for her hard work and loving care and the staff on Toronto East General's 5th floor. Friends may call at PINE HILLS CEMETERY &amp; VISITATION CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229), for visitation on Wednesday, November 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. <br /></div>
