Bill was one of my mentors while growing up when I first came to Canada from Nigeria as a young teenager. His family was a blessing for me as I spent my high school years in Collingwood. All my holidays were spent with them and his guidance helped me throughout those years separated from my parents. We lost touch in recent years but my memories of my uncle Bill are now very fresh and precious as are my memories of his whole family especially his girls and Doris. We'll miss him. But he is in a far better place now. Peace at last.

I am saddened to hear the lost of Bill Hirons (your father/grand father). He was a very good friend of mine and of most of us at Crossey Engineering Ltd.

Bill was the most likeable person you could ever meet, I don't think he had anyone who didn't like him. He was our lighting expert and great friend.
Cheers to Mr Lumen!
