Passed away on May 4, 2024, at Centenary Hospital, surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Martha Marie Shedden (née Boudreau), who predeceased him in 2018. Bill, known for his feisty spirit, was a dedicated father to Lisa (Howard, d. 2000) and Jim, and father-in-law to Shellie Thomas. Predeceased by his daughter, Heather MacIntosh. Bill's spirited nature brought color to his role as a husband, father, and grandfather to Katie (Aaron), Andrew (Dana), Taylor (Justin), Amy (JF), Lily, Meredith, and Hunter, and great-grandfather to Soren, Anna, Brooks, Monroe, Declan, and Lachlan. Bill was a retired Scarborough Firefighter and proudly served in the Royal Canadian Navy. Join us to honour and celebrate Bill's life at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, on Friday, May 10, 12noon-2pm.
